Painting went smoothly, spray paint cans were used to first prime each part. Each part was then sanded down to achieve a smoother finish and eliminate layer lines from printing.

Once sanded, each part was painted. Each block alternated from bone to light blue and same with the doors. Handles were then painted red. The outer rims were alternated from a rusty orange to a forest green.

A layer of special effect “Rust” paint was dusted over each block and door to achieve a “worn” look.

Each part was coated with a satin varnish for protection, pre-assembly.
